“To put it mildly it is the most blue thing I have ever seen. It is Disney blue; that perfect ideal that you think only exists in dreams or in fake landscaped theme park rides. Like some one dyed it all, or like it’s made of hand polished blue glass. It really is so beautiful that it is hard to believe it is real. “Waiting for the tour was terribly exciting. I’ve always liked Guinness but after the previous days insight into what Guinness really tastes like I was just plain giddy. It felt reminiscent of finding a golden ticket in my candy bar wrapper. This place really was Wonka’s factory for the drinking aged.”

“I love it because as you enter the building you are actually ushered by women in uniform as I imagine was the norm 30 years ago. I love it because they only charge me 3 quid. I love it because the seating music is 1920’s big band with all its crackle and charm. I love it because you can bring your own food and drinks; coffee with baileys, and cheese and crackers are among my favorite. And I love it because it’s a hidden gem.”
